After-sales support

Support that stays with every amplifier

From delivery checks and commissioning to fault diagnosis and repair, every after-sales request follows a clear RMA process. Our warranty, spare-unit and accessory policies are below; the contract, proforma invoice and packing list govern each order.

Four core after-sales policies

These policies cover MaikeAudio professional power amplifiers. The order documents and RMA confirmation define the exact scope.

01

One-year warranty

Every amplifier carries a one-year warranty from its shipment date. Spare units also carry a one-year warranty from their own shipment date. During the warranty period, failures caused by materials or workmanship under normal use are repaired or replaced through the RMA process after our after-sales team confirms the fault.

02

2% free spare units · no return

Eligible whole-unit orders include free spare units equal to 2% of the ordered whole-unit quantity, with any fractional result rounded down. For example, 100 units include two spare units, and 105 units also include two; spare-unit models and delivery arrangements are confirmed in the contract or proforma invoice. Once a spare unit is activated, the faulty unit does not need to be returned to MaikeAudio. If you choose repair instead of activating a spare unit, the RMA process applies.

03

Standard accessories included

Amplifiers ship with standard accessories, including modules. The packing list is the authoritative item list for exact models and quantities. Check the model, quantity, accessories and condition on receipt, and keep the original packaging for future transport or service.

04

Warranty repair freight

For repairs confirmed under warranty, MaikeAudio and the customer each pay 50% of the shipping cost. Non-warranty work or additional shipping charges are quoted separately.

How an after-sales case is handled

Complete information speeds up diagnosis. Where the confirmed solution requires a return, do not ship the amplifier before you receive RMA confirmation.

  1. 1. Submit a request

Send the order number, model, serial number, fault description and relevant photos or video by email or through the contact page.

  2. 2. Remote diagnosis

Our engineer checks the power, signal, load connections and protection indicators, and guides you through reproducing the fault where needed.

  3. 3. Eligibility and quotation

We confirm whether the case falls within warranty. For non-warranty work we provide a repair plan and quotation for approval before proceeding.

  4. 4. RMA authorisation

If the confirmed solution requires the unit to be returned for repair, we issue an RMA number, receiving details and packing instructions. Do not ship anything back before the RMA is issued.

  5. 5. Repair, replacement or spare unit

We repair, replace or release a spare unit according to the confirmed solution. Once a spare unit is activated, the faulty unit does not need to be returned to MaikeAudio. We keep you updated on progress and tracking.

  6. 6. Receipt and closure

Inspect condition and function when the unit arrives. After you confirm it is working, we close the case and file the service record.

What the one-year warranty covers

During the warranty period and under normal operating conditions, the following cases qualify for repair or replacement at no charge:

  • A fault confirmed by remote diagnosis or inspection to be caused by materials, manufacturing or assembly
  • Use within the electrical, thermal and installation limits stated in the user manual
  • An order number, invoice or product serial number can be provided
  • The fault occurs within one year of the shipment date

Not covered by the free warranty

We can normally offer paid repair for the following cases after inspection and a quoted price:

  • The one-year warranty period has expired
  • Wrong mains voltage, abnormal power, short circuit, lightning, water, moisture, fire or another external cause
  • Impact, crushing or other physical damage caused by transport, handling or installation after delivery
  • Unauthorised opening, modification, repair or use of non-original critical parts
  • Failure to follow the manual, prolonged overload, inadequate cooling or unsuitable environmental conditions
  • Normal wear, cosmetic ageing or minor colour variation that does not affect operation

Prepare before you contact us

The more complete the information, the faster our team can isolate the problem.

  • Order, invoice or contract number
  • Product model and serial number
  • Quantity purchased, shipment date and the date the fault appeared
  • Fault symptoms, operating conditions and protection indicator status
  • Clear photos or video of the front, rear, rating label and fault area
  • Return contact name, address and telephone number

After-sales questions

These are general policies. The contract, proforma invoice, packing list and RMA confirmation govern each order.

How long is the amplifier warranty?

Every amplifier has a one-year warranty from its shipment date. The shipment record determines the exact start date. Spare units also have a one-year warranty beginning on their own shipment date.

How are the 2% free spare units calculated?

Eligible whole-unit orders receive free spare units equal to 2% of the ordered whole-unit quantity, with any fractional result rounded down. For example, 100 amplifiers include two spare units, and 105 also include two. Spare-unit models and delivery arrangements are confirmed in the contract or proforma invoice.

Does the faulty amplifier need to be returned after a spare unit is activated?

No. Once a spare unit is activated, the faulty unit does not need to be returned to MaikeAudio. If you choose repair instead of a spare-unit solution, follow the RMA instructions for that case.

Which accessories are included?

Standard accessories include modules; exact models, quantities and the item list are stated on the packing list. Check them on arrival and contact after-sales with photos if anything is missing or damaged.

Who pays shipping during the warranty period?

For repairs confirmed under warranty, the customer and MaikeAudio each pay 50% of the repair shipping cost. Non-warranty repairs or additional shipping charges are quoted separately. Submit a request and obtain an RMA first; do not return a unit without authorisation.

Can an out-of-warranty or damaged amplifier be repaired?

Yes, we can normally offer paid repair. We inspect the unit, provide a repair plan and quotation, and proceed only after your approval.

What should I do if the shipment arrives damaged or faulty?

Keep the packaging and shipping documents, photograph the exterior, rating label and fault, and contact after-sales promptly. Do not open the unit or repeatedly power a device that may have a short circuit.

May I open the amplifier or use a third-party repairer?

Unauthorised opening or replacement of critical parts can affect the warranty assessment. Contact us for remote diagnosis first and follow the RMA instructions if repair is required.
