Overview

CA1000 Professional Stereo Power Amplifier

The CA series is the two channel mainstay of the MaikeAudio range, covering four power steps from 600 W to 1500 W per channel at 8 Ω. The chassis follows the classic installation layout in a 2U or 3U rack format, with a brushed metal faceplate, an independent gain control and a level meter per channel.

Every model is rated at ≥110 dB signal to noise, ≥80 dB channel separation, a damping factor of ≥800 at 8 Ω and an 80 V/us slew rate. THD+N at 8 Ω / 1 kHz stays below 0.01% (below 0.05% on the CA600). Protection covers DC offset, short circuit, over temperature and soft start, which is what keeps the amplifier stable across long commercial duty cycles.

The CA1500 and the CA1000 show the two chassis options: a 31 kg 3U model with 4800 W of bridged output for larger halls and live use, and 2U models from 23.5 kg that slip into a standard equipment rack.

The CA1000 is one of the power steps of the series: 2 × 1000 w into 8 ω, 2 × 1600 w into 4 ω, 3200 w bridged, 25.5 kg in a 2U chassis measuring 89 × 483 × 472 mm. It shares the circuit, the protection design and the measured performance of the rest of the CA Series, so the choice inside a series comes down to output power and chassis height.

Power ratings follow the EIA standard and are measured with a 40 ms pulse of a 1 kHz sine wave at 1% total harmonic distortion.
