Overview
The X series is the value line of the range. Three two channel models cover 600, 800 and 1000 W per channel at 8 Ω, with up to 3200 W bridged on the X1000.
The differences against the higher series are deliberate: the damping factor is ≥600 at 8 Ω and the slew rate 45 V/us, still with ≥110 dB signal to noise and ≥80 dB channel separation. Instead of a selectable sensitivity, each model is set at one of 0.775 V, 1.0 V or 1.4 V at the factory, so it can be matched directly to the preamp in the rack.
THD+N stays below 0.01% at 8 Ω / 1 kHz on the X1000 and the X800, below 0.05% on the X600. All three are 2U and weigh 23, 22 and 20 kg. Protection is unchanged: DC offset, short circuit, over temperature and soft start.
The X800 is one of the power steps of the series: 2 × 800 w into 8 ω, 2 × 1250 w into 4 ω, 2500 w bridged, 22 kg in a 2U chassis measuring 89 × 483 × 472 mm. It shares the circuit, the protection design and the measured performance of the rest of the X Series, so the choice inside a series comes down to output power and chassis height.
Power ratings follow the EIA standard and are measured with a 40 ms pulse of a 1 kHz sine wave at 1% total harmonic distortion.
